I am more fun than serious; look at life from a very happy perspective. Although I am shy when it comes to meeting and talking to people in a crowd, I like to know people and talk about life from different perspective. People call me workaholic but to me when it comes to having fun I forget everything else and enjoy myself. I like adventures and challenges.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Actually I love the idea of able to host and to be hosted by people. In 2013, when I was in Auroville which is an international experimental community in India, I was hosted by 11 individuals. I heard about couch surfing then, so I decided I must join. As I had already created my own way of helping people find a couch where I volunteered, I did not actively participate in the couchsurfing community.

Interests

I always develop new interest as I am a curious person.
I love to dance and can dance for hours together.
I love to play computer games and I can get really addicted to it.
I like very much hiking and I take special interest in climbing rocky hills (although at present I am not in the best of shape to climb)
I like to teach as a hobby and have volunteered in a school to teach physics to children for a year.
Well what else can I saw....hmmm.. may be when we meet you will know better.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love western classical music; but there was a time I loved only Indian Classical Music after my music teacher from Australia introduced me to the Indian Flute. Over time I have acquired tastes for other kind of music and enjoy listening to anything that gives me a chill.
Movies...Oh my god...It would be impossible for me to name my favorite movies. God knows how many movies I have watched. I love to watch movies. But if you want to still know what is my favorite movie, I can name some like: La Vie est Belle (life is beautiful); Shawshank Redemption; The God father trilogy; etc, etc.
Regarding books: God I was always afraid to read books. I use to be frightened just by looking at the thickness of it. But I did read plenty. Although I can't remember the names of the ones that I really enjoyed reading, I loved the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Vendetta: a story of one forgotten, Conte de Monte Cristo;

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have lived a very adventurous form my childhood. I can name a few crazy things I have done:
Riding 80 kilometers on a bicycle during a thunder storm in almost pitch dark night. It was one hell of an experience that I can never forget.
Sleeping on the streets after slipping away from home just to experience the life of a beggar.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to share my experience with people and learn from other's experience. I can never say no to anything new.
I love the idea of being able to work with children especially with kids from 10-15 years of age as it is a difficult age group to work with and I love challanges.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very open person and I can share just about anything. At the end it all depends on how comfortable the other person is.
