Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I both surf and host. I think couchsurfing is an amazing way to make a trip real!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've already slept on couches without couchsurfing during my trips, and expecting to sleep on more thanks to it now.
... I've had experiences both meeting couchsurfers in Ireland,England, Mexico, Sweden, Nicaragua, as well as hosting surfers in my place...can't wait to surf / host again !

Interests

Music (live concerts, festivals), dancing, aikido, cinema (mainly independant cinema), reading (in bed, near a window, lying in the grass under a massive old tree), cooking & baking (and eating French and international food, Asian in particular, I love to taste new dishes), riding my bike while listening to music, theatre, street theatre, going out for drinks (and having friends' over at my place for drinks), learning languages and above all travelling around the world, meeting people and learning about cultures... and so many other things ! I take Bollywood dancing lessons at the moment !

I love music, indie rock (Artic Monkeys, Bat for Lashes...), electro (Django Django, radiohead, Portishead...,abstract hip hop : DJ Shadow, Krush..., electro-world : Bumcello...), alternative rock (Cocorosie...), rock (Red Hot Chili Peppers, PJ Harvey...)etc... / reading novels (Salman Rushdie, Arhundathi Roy, Paul Auster, Toni Morrison, E.Bronte, Mary Shelley, Oscar Wilde, Virginia Woolf, E-Emmanuel Schmitt, Ahmed Madani...), comics (Riad Sattouf,Johan Sfar, Marjanne Satrapi...), poetry (I am very interested in literature in general)/some of my favourite films are : "In the mood for love", "Lost in Translation","Little Miss Sunshine", "Juno", "American Beauty", "Head On", "Bloody Sunday", "Incendie", "Valse avec Bachir", "Good Morning England", "La Guerre est déclarée"..., films by Almodavar, Sofia Coppola, Woody Allen, Fatih Akın, Ken Loach etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've both loved climbing up volcanos and relaxing on desert Carribean beaches in Nicaragua, absolutely amazing.
