About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going person, I love to travel and meet new people, find more about new cultures and learn a lot about it.
Always ready for new adventures!

PHILOSOPHY

live and learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I register on CS because I think it's a great way to travel as you can be hosted by locals. It's more authentic.

Interests

I like to read and I always enjoy going to the theatre to watch a good movie.
I also like to cook (vegetarian food) and bake, and try different recipes from all over the world.
I like to hike, to go for a walk in the nature, close to the ocean.
When I was younger, I used to go surfing every weekend, and I definitively want to try surfing again, even though I might spend more time in the water rather than on the board!
Also, I know it might seem a bit lame, but I collect stamps! I love the pictures on such tiny piece of paper, and it also means that I received a letter or a postcard, which is always nice :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies by Tim Burton, Almodovar... But really I think I like every sorts of movies. I also like to watch TV series.

I really like to read but it's really hard to pick my favorite books or authors (even though I really like most of the books by Arto Paasilinna), I guess it really depends of the mood.
The last book I read was "the truth about the Harry Quebert affair".

About music, I must admit that I don't really know a lot about. I kind of like everything but metal and electro!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to select only 2 or 3 memorable moments but I'd say that the entire year I spent living in the USA was, for me a striking moment, of course a lot happened within one year but I will always keep in mind the wonderful moments I spent with the wonderful people I met there.

An other thing I remember and that makes me smile every time I think about it is when, after a delay of 10 hours, I landed in Romania in the middle of the night during winter, I was so cold, so tired but at the same time so happy to meet a bunch of new friends at the airport and we decided to go to a bar to spend the night and to warm up with good talks and good mulled wine!
