ABOUT ME

My passport is my longest relationship, I spoil it with as many trips as I can afford, and get it new stamps and visas at every opportunity.

I work as a cook in Nairobi, running food-based events, consulting with restaurants and lodges, and experimenting with local ingredients. With luck I'll soon have a hospitality training cafe with a small garden and maybe even some chickens.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a great way to explore cities, and I like to show people about whereever I call home when I have the chance.

I love books on travel, history and other countries/cultures - fiction and non-fiction. I also love to read cookbooks but I never follow recipes - strange but true

Northern Lights, Bagan Temples, Sunrise new years day in Sihanoukville Cambodia, a leopard scare away 15 hyenas to pull a Zebra up a tree to snack on
