About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learn to see and appreciate other people's worldview; and incorporate all the good bits!
ABOUT ME
An Australian born and bred, I've got a love of sports, outdoors and travel.
I play and love field hockey, though I socially play football, rugby, touch footy, cricket, etc etc. I enjoy any outdoors activity you can name; fishing, bushwalking, kayaking, portaging, running. I'm terrible at rock climbing but am trying to get better.
Last year I graduated from university in Engineering/Science at the Australian National University in Canberra. I'm working in the mining industry. A big goal in life is to learn another language (it's pretty common in Aus to only know English), so I'm learning Spanish and a bit of French.
I dabble in guitar (who doesn't?!) and dig all music and art.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've pulled a Gen-Y and've been irresponsible for a year, traveling and seeing the world. It's now time to build some karma and host, though I'm new to Europe and want to see some of the old continent in my spare time!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The first time I met couch surfers, they were staying at a mates house. They were lovely people, and we had tonnes of fun partying that night and saw some sights the next day. I joined and spent a lot of 2011 surfing in Africa, where I met the most amazing friends.
