About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to one day make it to Africa...
ABOUT ME
I'm a friendly aussie girl, originally from the country - so if you want a bit of a different perspective on australia come and stay with me :)
Just started hosting, and I'll warn you now - if you stay with me, expect some messiness, disorganised-ness, busy-ness (currently working 2 jobs and studying), but still lots of fun. I'm keen to visit places in Sydney I've never been before with couchsurfers providing I have the time (I really haven't been anywhere - I keep on going overseas in the summers!!), and I'm ALWAYS up for a good party!! (...if you agree to go clubbing with me, be warned - I don't like to go home early!)
...If you want to go to Taroonga zoo let me know, because I have a yearly pass (for myself) but no one else I know does so would like someone to go with!
PHILOSOPHY
To make people smile! :)
I think its the random moments in life that make you smile/laugh are what makes life worth living, and if I can make someone smile it makes me happy as well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been hosted by some very generous people, been to meetings in different cities and just met up with people for a drink or two. Now I have the opportunity to host, and looking forward to it!!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have met so many interesting (and sometimes local!) people in my travels that I never would have had the chance to otherwise - I went to a CS meet up in Madrid where there were international people working in Madrid as well as locals, visited Zaragoza with a CSer, and drank beer/wine long into the night on the banks of the river in Toulouse with local French people, and have been hosted by amazing people in France, Denmark, and Latvia.
Interests
Travelling, languages (I really would like to be fluent in a 2nd language), cultures (I love Spanish culture in particular, and also like to learn about the culture of the place I'm travelling), partying, animals (ALL kinds!!), outdoors, camping, horseriding, reading...

A thousand splendid suns - Khaled Houssini
On the Jellicoe Road - Melina Marchetta

Friends, Scrubs, Gilmore Girls, Neighbours (although it used to be better than it is now!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The locals at Ostional beach, Costa Rica, working together to protect the baby turtles from getting eaten by vultures/dogs on their way to the ocean :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can obviously share my English skills, and would really like to learn more Spanish.
I can also share my knowledge of Australia and its different regions, and of course would love to learn the culture of wherever I am in the world at the time! I've also travelled to a lot of places so can give some advice/tips on this too ... and I can also remind you that its important to laugh at the little things in life :)
