ABOUT ME

Hi there
My life is a little erratic. I lead a double-life between my outdoor lifestyle/work and my late-nights-in-the-city lifestyle/work. Like most of us I've lived some, but know I've barely scratched the surface, so the quest for new experiences continues!

PHILOSOPHY

If you have the opportunity to help another human being, give it a try. Even if you're somewhere unfamiliar it can be very easy. Sometimes people just need a smile or directions, or someone to lean on while they pull something sharp from their foot. Next time someone looks lost, ask them if they're ok :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I'm home my house is always open to fun strangers. I welcome CouchSurfing.org to continue and enhance this trend. I have the space and often the time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed a lot when I was young, and have hosted plenty since. It's always been a pathway to meeting new faces and tightening existing friendships. I've stayed with strangers abroad and I'd like to hope I've grown from the experiences and knocked down some walls.

At the moment I'm exploring water. I'm loving boats of all kinds, piloting them and enjoying the sights and locations they open up.
I love tinkering with things, building things, designing things - figuring things out.
And of course I love music.

I generally appreciate obscurity and good craft skills in entertainment, as I can't help but dissect and analyse, so.. most categories across all mediums, from Beethovan to White Zombie, from Castle of Cagliostro to Zardoz. I like to be surprised and impressed.
