Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

OK party people, I'm finally leaving the nest and entering the real world.. I'll be settling into my new place over the next few weeks. The down side, I don't have a couch to take with me, the up side is, I'll be moving literally across the road from the beach so I'll be able to show you the real Australia.

I DON'T LIVE IN SYDNEY, I live an hour north of Sydney on the Central Coast. Along the coast line it has some beautiful beaches, little cafes and shops. It has a great Australian feel, while being away from the city. There's nice pubs and a small handful of clubs for those party animals who stay on a friday or saturday night. Ideally 1-2 nights is good for me due to work.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've both hosted and been a host, I'm happy to show you around and take you to the best part of being in Australia...the beaches. I have the most amazing friends that are like minded to me and are the best people to meet along the way.

Yes, I have a negative reference, as happy as I am to receive phone calls, when you receive them at 1am in the morning, a few hours before your alarm is about to go off for work, it does make it hard to want to give someone your time. I'd like to think this was explained to them but a mis communication and one too many beers may have got in the way. None the less every other experience I've had on here has been a memorable one.

Music, Movies, and Books

my favourite band is birds of Tokyo, but I appreciate most music. Especially singer song writers. Nothing beats live music in a pub.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm grateful for the fact I can say that I've tried just about everything once. I've been lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel on a number of occasions.

For my 25th birthday my best friend and me jumped out of the plane, Can safely say Id do it again in a heart beat.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't have a great deal of talent, I can't sing or teach you how to the play the guitar, but I can share my experiences and friends with you. I can share my family with you and will always be open to meeting new people from every corner of the world. I can also take you for a stand up paddle board, believe me, if I can do it anyone can!

My favourite thing to do is get coffee by the beach! rain, hail or shine, most of my days off you'll find me in a cafe with friends.
