ABOUT ME

It's always tough to describe yourself in a little box. Let's see, i've lived in Australia all my life, but love to travel and see the world. I'm pretty easy going, however I definitely like to challenge the norm. After working in sales & marketing since finishing university, I started my own consulting company last year. I love working for myself as it allows me to help a lot of different businesses along with giving me a lot more freedom and flexibility. After putting it off few the last couple of years, i'm now fulfilling my dream of travelling the world (currently in Europe).

PHILOSOPHY

As cliched as it sounds, life's too short to go through the motions. I think if you really want something then you make it happen. I think the tough part is figuring out what you really want...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like hosting people (when i'm at home in Australia) and love meeting fellow couch surfers when i'm travelling around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm fairly new to couch surfing, so no weird or crazy stories to tell yet. I've met some absolutely wonderful people so far through hosting and surfing, so can't wait to meet more members of the couch surfing community.

Interests

I love music. I'm a bit of a sports nut. Love travelling and meeting new people. Enjoy hanging out with friends, getting out in the great outdoors and don't mind doing absolutely nothing from time to time.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music collection is pretty diverse and ranges from rock to pop to classical to metal. Favorite bands of all time are Foo Fighters, Rage Against the Machine and Pearl Jam. I'm a sucker for cheesy 90's music!!

My favorite movies of all time are The Shawshank Redemption, Aliens, Anchorman, Zoolander, Predator.

Reading lots of travel books at the moment.

I specialise in obscure Australian sports, so if anyone wants to learn the finer arts of AFL (Australian Rules Football) or cricket, let me know.

I'm open to learning anything new someone wants to teach me.
