My friends say that I'm a philanthropist since I go so well together with most people and love to share what I have, be it a sandwich or a kind word when they need it.
What I tend to share the most is my smile and positive energy.

Also they'd probably say that I'm rather creative and point out that I can be quite stubborn at times :)
Or that I'm an introvert and thus need my quiet alone time at regular intervals to stay human.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have both surfed and hosted with a lot of good experiences and one less so. Unfortunately with all the layout changes of Coushsurfing the past decade (yes I've been active for that long :), not all of the lovely references are as easy to find. I guess that means I need to get more actively hosting and surfing again :)

The best part of Couchsurfing is to get to meet people I otherwise never would have come into contact with. It's so interesting to talk and strive find common ground with people I at a first glance don't share much with. And nothing beats getting a local's perspective of the place you're visiting!

I'm a down-to-earth environmentalist who care for life, people, simple living, knitting and writing... I consider myself a Geek-in-training, for now mainly enjoying anime, role playing games and watching others play video games :)

Also I love to read, hear and tell stories!

The past few years I've become an even more active activist on LGBTQ+, environment and rural development. I'm one of four hosts for the monthly Uppsala Bi-/Queer/Pan- meet ups and a member of a Youth in Rural Development group.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

At Stockholm Pride festival in 2016 I had the amazing opportunity to hold a workshop on bisexuality and activism. A lot of people came and many amazing ideas were put forward at that workshop which have since seen the light of day. It feels amazing to have been, and still be, a part of reactivating the bisexuality movement in Sweden.

I know a little about a lot, and a lot about a few things.

I'm a master of public transportation on the nordic peninsula (Norway/Sweden).
I enjoy teaching/learning sustainable living, small-scale farming and handicrafts, such as knitting, writing and baking. I'm also an activist who talk a lot about norms. Care to learn more about LGBTQ+, the environment, mental health or the urban norm? :)

If you want to teach me to play some board game, role playing game or watch cult movies I'm all in :) (I can bring some cake :)
