ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Austen, I am a guy from Alaska. I'm used to live in Vietnam and worked as an English teacher. I once rode my bicycle from Anchorage, AK to Phoenix, AZ. I wrote a blog about that:

I graduated form the University of Alaska Anchorage and I majored in economics and math. In the future I'll probably go to grad school for business. I am an Eagle Scout, a private pilot, and was a radio DJ. I am generally an extrovert and I am especially excited to meet people on this upcoming trip. I think this community is an awesome concept. I would be a good guest because I am low maintenance, I get along with people of all ages, and I'm willing to help out around the house. Thanks!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been skydiving, bungee jumping, done a backflip on downhill skis, juggled fire, ridden a unicycle, hunted black bear, flown an airplane, and started a fire by rubbing sticks together, ridden a bicycle 14,000 km, ridden a motorbike from Hanoi to Saigon (see this blog
