ABOUT ME

I am creative, deeply thought filled, relatively well educated, and easy to get along with. I am an extrovert, but I've always been instinctively unobtrusive and polite, especially when I am a guest. I am an undergrad majoring in Music and minoring in Psychology, although I am not going to school right now.

PHILOSOPHY

Human life is priceless, human nature has been corrupted, human potential is limitless for good or for evil. General aversion to hypocrisy, dishonesty, violence, aggression, overt lasciviousness, and anything that needlessly creates chaos. As I see it, most chaos is needless. General attraction to mercy, charity, humor, perspective, logic, peaceable problem solving, love, balance, intentional behavior and cooperative structure/stability. As I see it, cooperation and compromise are the main factors in the road to stability.
I tend to stay away from party politics. I am registered to vote, but without affiliation to any party as far as I can manage. I guess I would be considered a member of the "independent" party, although that seems too oxymoronic to commit to fully. In general, I believe what I believe, and let others do the same. I trust that the diamond stands out in the rough; our beliefs are expressed through our actions, and the value of our beliefs is apparent according to our actions. If that value is obviously high, people will notice. So in that way, I feel no need to sell my values like cheap kitchen appliances. The performance of my values will sell themselves. I will be more specific about my religious/political experiences upon request.

So far things have been pretty swell. I've had the opportunity to be exposed to good music, good food and good company, which is always welcome.

音乐、电影和书籍

Most music I like is Indie, like Thom Yorke and Ben Gibbard. I also like to listen to classical works, spanning from the middle ages to modern times. I have a terrible soft spot for jazz: Dave Bruebeck, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong in particular. Beyond that,anything that is innovative without abandoning tonality completely.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Most of the amazing things I've seen are things of nature. Flora, Fauna, the sky, the clouds, the moon, sunrises and sunsets, fog, rain, hail, snow, frost, spring, summer, fall, winter - these are the things of beauty I remember.
History will tell if my actions inspire amazement or not. I won't be the one to indicate one way or the other.
