About Me
I am a chemical and pharmaceutical engineering student at the University of Florida! I am interested in medicine and love to travel. I run about 6 miles a day, and follow a paleo diet!
At school I work in a crystallography and drug development lab. My work has been published! Google "PDB 4XC4"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to get a full cultural experience when I travel --beyond hotels and typical tours. I like unique activities and to go "off the beaten path."
Last year (May 2014), I had the opportunity to volunteer in Lima and live with my host family. It was such an amazing experience and I hope to travel and stay with more locals! I'd also like to host people visiting the US from abroad when the time is right!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My coolest -- and most eye opening -- experience was volunteering and staying in Lima, Peru! I volunteered at a hospital for a week, shadowing a surgeon. But what made the whole thing amazing was living with the family of the doctor! It introduced me to a brand new way of travel and taking in the local culture!
