Overview
About Me
I am pursuing a PhD in Communication with an emphasis on the philosophy of political myth and its significance in how we understand our identities and relationships in daily life. I am a lover of good books and good coffee and am hoping to someday be a tenured professor at a university.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all music. My preferences range from classic punk to chilled out house beats. The movies that resonate with me mostly consist of those which provoke though and conversation in myself and my friends; Ex Machina is probably the most recent of those. I read a lot of books, but comics are my favorite. So many of them are overlooked for being unsophisticated, yet they arrest the attention immediately upon suspending one's belief.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One night while my friends and I were driving through the main campus of UT (the University of Texas at Austin) we saw a girl just aying on the ground passed out. It was late and she was on her back next to a couple of people waiting to cross the street. We stopped the car immediately and managed to turn her on her side right before she began to vomit. She had been abandoned by her friends after a night of heavy drinking and the people standing next to her on the street had no idea who she was. We called the police and got them to escort her home safely without too much trouble. It might not seem very phenomenal, or amazing, but I try not to think about what would have happened if we hadn't stopped and helped her out when we did.
Teach, Learn, Share
All I have is the knowledge I've collected over the years about philosophy, art, communication, and political impact, but I always hope that I can teach others as I learn from them.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Mostly anything. It'll be nice to be open with some new people.
