I'm a 21 year old senior in college at the University of San Diego. I grew up in Denver, Colorado. Currently I am a Brand Strategy Analyst at Illumina (a biotech company).

I love traveling and seeing new cities/areas from locals' eyes. I spent a semester studying abroad in New Zealand, where the majority of my time was spent backpacking. On the same trip I spent 6 weeks backpacking by myself through Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Luckily, I was able to see Cuba this past March.

I love skiing, as I've been on skis since I was 3 years old. I've skied in Colorado, New Zealand, and Canada (where I went heliskiing). I've played baseball and basketball since I was 5 years old, and continue to play for fun on the weekend. Almost every morning I do some sort of work out (yoga, running, weight lifting, surfing) before I go to work or school. I enjoy having late night philosophical conversations with friends. I have yet to meet a food dish I don't like, and I love trying new foods and new experiences.

I want to travel the world and see every place from a local's perspective. There's no better way to get that perspective than to live with them! My favorite experiences have been with locals and off the beaten path, to only a place where locals go (that's where the best food/music/views/experiences are).
