I grew up in rural Missouri, spending much of my time on my grandparents’ farm. After college, I worked for a few years in my home state before transferring that job to Washington, DC. After eight years in the same office, I decided to quit so I could start a new chapter in my life.

While traveling, my goal is to meet people and connect over shared interests and experiences, hopefully learning some new skills and things along the way. I’m happiest when having meaningful conversations and spending time with wonderful humans.

The two topics strangers are meant to avoid - religion and politics - are what I studied in college and often gravitate toward today. I’m interested in learning about who people are and what brings them joy and meaning in life. I think religion and politics reflect those values.
