Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love hearing about people and collecting their stories! From my experience so far I've learned that there's no better way to travel than Couchsurfing... I love assuming the lives of my hosts to an extent and doing whatever they like to do. That being said if you're a hands off host, that's fine as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- One month residency at a Buddhist monastery

- Created an anonymous treasure hunt for $2,000 worth of gold

- Volunteered with stray dogs for two months in Costa Rica

- Found Walt Disney’s signature deep in Spirit Mountain Cave

- Worked as a ranch hand on a cattle ranch in South Dakota for a month

- Participated in a paleontology dig in Montana

- Month on a farm in Ireland

- Worked at a zoo in Ecuador

- Packed up my car and headed West with no return date or destination. Ended up driving almost 14,000 miles over 3 and 1/2 months in the US.

I graduated college without debt...

I climbed a rock wall blindfolded.

Teach, Learn, Share

My goal is to improve the lives of those I surf with in some way. Let's exchange thoughts, ideas, and good conversation! I didn't go to high school and was in college by 16, so I guess I've gone a pretty abnormal route which can be interesting to discuss.

I've been meditating everyday for over a year, totaling around over 600 hours of practice so I'd be happy to share with you what I've learned from this.
