Overview
About Me
I'm a life coach, married to a wonderful woman and working mostly out of Brighton, MI. I'm also an avid world-traveler and have traveled all over Western Europe as well as North America. I like to use travel as a chance to challenge myself to become more. It's exciting to see what you're capable of when thrown into a foreign environment. I also enjoy connecting with awesome people using networks like Couch Surfing and Meetup. I lead a meditation meetup back home and have used this kind of site to build friendships all over the world now. I'm excited to connect with genuine, friendly, and globally-minded people who I can share culture and friendship with. One of these days, maybe I'll get my wife to surf with me. For now, I think "surfing" is more of a me thing. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I previously used couchsurfing to meet fun people in Berlin. I also used it during a roller blading adventure from New York City to Santa Monica, CA (yes, I skated across a continent - no, not many people have - and YES, I went through a LOT of wheels!). I'm rejoining now, after at least 5 years of absence - hoping to meet and surf with some cool people again.

Music, Movies, and Books
Ok - rapid fire from the heart...
Music:
"Come Get Your Love" by Redbone (from Guardians of the Galaxy)
Elvis Presley (all)
90's Alternative and Rock
Punk Rock from the early 2000's (like Greenday, Blink 182, etc.)
Hip-Hop and Rap these days (learning break dancing right now)
Movies:
Old school black and white movies (like "My Man Godfrey"). My wife and I like the acting of that era.
Epics (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Marvel, Star Wars, etc.)
Anything with really good acting and a compelling story. Action's fine, but it's not the point!
Books:
I have an interesting habit of reading Indiana Jones in German :)
My reading interests are similar to film (fiction)
New age business philosophy, spirituality, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently leaped into and swam in the Seine in Paris, after being invited by a relatively drunken group of locals late at night. The cops came, nobody really got in trouble, and I had a once in a lifetime experience!
Teach, Learn, Share
I lead a popular meditation meetup in Ann Arbor, MI and have since early 2015. I also coach people for a leaving and understand transformation process for people who are trying to level up in life (often entrepreneurs, but not always).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm happy to share my fun world travel experiences, language exchange, meditation and spiritual perspective, and of course, fun. :)
