ABOUT ME

I am a cyclist. I don't own a car out of choice. I enjoy being a part of the solution in my own little way by commuting everywhere on my bike. I love to learn anything that I can. I like to create things. I just began a new endeavor to learn how to make all of my own clothes. My mother was an excellent seamstress and designer and gave me several of her old sewing machines to help me get started. I want to possess the knowledge and skill to be totally sustainable one day without having to be dependent on anyone but myself. I love to travel and share experiences with new people. I am going to college in an attempt to get my bachelors in anthropology. I want to be able to move to the middle east one day and be a working archaeologist. I am hoping to join the peace corps one of these days. I would love to spend some time on a farm. I am open to any new experience that comes my way. I have a beautiful girlfriend that helps to keep me level. I am trying to get her to want to travel with me but my nature is terribly spontaneous and she tends to be more grounded. She completes me though. I have wonderful friends that have supported me through all of my learning and mistakes. I am blessed to have what I do and try to live each day free from regret.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just became a member, but I love to travel and have met plenty of amazing people that have been such gracious hosts when I came through their lives while on my journey. Now I just want to take the opportunity to allow other people to have a chance to share in that sort of experience. I want to be able to give back what has been given to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosted by good friends and interesting strangers in my travels and have been fortunate enough to connect with all of them on a fairly intimate level.

Intereses

Everything!! Riding bikes mostly and just learning new skill sets. I am really getting into gardening and sewing now. I want to have a vegetable garden big enough by the end of the summer to support me until next year.

Música, películas y libros

I love watching movies but have seen too many to attempt narrowing down a favorites list. I don't watch tv though. I spent too many years wasting my time in front of one and now I just don't watch it. I would rather be riding my bike, or reading or making something.

I will read anything. Right now I am juggling several works: Mort by Terry Pratchett(one of my favorite authors), Hobo by Eddy Joe Cotton, and Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.

I hate to continue sounding so general and cliche, but I really do like any kind of music. I love the blues the most probably. I can lose myself in it.
