ABOUT ME

I think I'm a pretty friendly and easy-going guy. I grew up in a small city in Oregon, but now I'm in Lawrence pursuing a masters degree in Geography. I've spent a fair amount of time abroad (mostly in eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union), and I'm always looking forward to my next chance to get back overseas, and of course to do more couch surfing! I enjoy wandering around and exploring, and meeting new people to wander around and explore with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've done quite a bit of surfing around the former USSR, eastern Europe, and a bit of the middle east. I also hosted a number of people at my old apartment in Simferopol, Ukraine. I look forward to doing both more surfing and hosting as soon as I am able!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some really great experiences through couchsurfing, both with the people that I have hosted and with those who have hosted me. I'm continually amazed by the generosity and helpfulness of many of the people who have hosted me, and I try provide the same experience for those that I host.
