About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a recent college graduate trying to figure out where this weird and lovely world is going to take me. One moment at a time, right?
I'd call myself cautiously spontaneous (spontaneously cautious?): I like to throw myself into new things but still try to stay grounded in the present.
PHILOSOPHY
Philosophy's great as long as you don't think too much about it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love the idea of Couchsurfing, and I'm ready to put it into practice. I'm always down to meet up with new people, even if I can't host. Hikes, coffee, or
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No couchsurfing with a capital C (through the website) yet, but quite a bit of sleeping at friends'/friends of friends' houses. I also like to strike up random conversations with people from all over the world, so it seems like Couchsurfing fits well with that.
Interests
In no particular order: small pathways, ecosystems, trail running, red rocks, old buildings, old maps, canyons, backpacking, baking bread, thunderstorms, guitar-playing, bike rides, meditation, block towers, singing, harmonica-playing, cross-country skiing, learning languages, hearing stories... and making a Couchsurfing profile that reminds me what is so cool in life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music--Anything from Emmylou Harris to M83 to Bach. Some of my favorites include Coyote Grace, Lucius, Puggy, Penguin Café Orchestra, the Ditty Bops, and Ben Sollee.
Movies-- I've never been good at watching movies or TV-- lots of references go right past me, and I haven't even seen all of the Disney movies. But I'm always happy to see more!
Books-- I'm working my way back into reading after college threw lots of books at me with little time to absorb them. I like short stories, poetry, and magazines quite a bit. I'm most of the way through The One Hundred Year Old Man who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared. It's a lot of fun.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
