About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To thoroughly explore the world people inhabitat and the people who inhabit the world.
ABOUT ME
Hello there!
I'm Austin, a college student based in Massachusetts, USA. I was born in southern California, raised in the neon lights and sin of Las Vegas, and am currently being outsourced to New England for a liberal arts education that will either land me in consulting or a cardboard box. Let's say, I'm stoked.
My interests span from Rubik's cubes to advocacy work in socioeconomic inequality. I enjoy traveling, exploring, drawing, photographing, and meeting other people. And maybe candle-lit dinners and long walks on the beach, but only if they' are accompanied with scaling rooftops and making smores.
PHILOSOPHY
A few of my favorite quotes: A man sets out to draw the world. As the years go by, he peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, instruments, stars, horses, and individuals. A short time before he dies, he discovers that that patient labyrinth of lines traces the lineaments of his own face." -Jorge Luis Borges
"We have to continually be jumping off cliffs and developing our wings on the way down." - Kurt Vonnegut
"Sometimes you climb out of bed in the morning and you think, Iâm not going to make it, but you laugh inside â remembering all the times youâve felt that way." -Charles Bukowski
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I predominantly participate in "couchsurfing culture" by meeting and inviting others to join in fostering a solid sense of camaraderie. As soon as I have my own place, I'll certainly open it up to the couchsurfing community.

So far, I have couchsurfed in:
- Montreal, Quebec, Canada (3)
