ABOUT ME

I'm 27, and I've always been different. My interests range from gaming for an entire weekend to taking nice long hike in the middle of nowhere. I'm not the most adventurous eater, but I'll give most things a go at least once. I like traveling, love meeting people and trying new places to eat, or just walking around letting time slip by pleasantly. I'm not much of a partier, but prefer to sit down with good people and good drink and have a good time.

I've been quite inactive in the CS community in the past few years but I'm looking to change that. Simple coffee meet ups, excursions to outdoor parks, or going to a small town nearby are all activities I enjoy. I'm a bit of a nerd, so video games, board games, or any sort of convention will get me all excited xD

PHILOSOPHY

I can never go back to that; to the mediocrity, insignificance, ignorance, and all those people who are content with said inadequacies. I will not be inadequate, in my life or in my surroundings; I will be extraordinary, I will be the misfit, the outcast, because I know that the people who make a difference, in the lives of individuals and the world, are the people who move you, who shake you and stir you to the point of true change, change so deep that you want to keep changing. I will be this outcast, the person not satisfied with the inadequacies of their character or surroundings, but I will continually improve them and challenge you to do so. For this you might hate me, you might think me weird, but I would take weird over normal any day, and I pity the man who wouldn't.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Been to a few dozen meetings doing various things in Xi'an, traveled through CS To SE Asia, and I like finding new people in the city to meet!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meetings with other CSers in Xi'an, China and getting to know them through various activities. They're all spectacular people.

Surfed and met up with people during travels to SE Asia as well as Hong Kong, and hope to continue the tradition in Shenzhen!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rural Australia was a shock to the system, both good and bad.

Living out of a backpack for 2 months is something I yearn for again!

The things I've done that I don't agree with teach me more about who I am, rather than the things that I do agree with.
