About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see more, appreciate more, learn more and meet more!
ABOUT ME
I'm currently working and travelling my way the globe in wine and viticulture. I love good food, beer and of course wine. I enjoy meeting new people, seeing new places and learning about the big old world of ours. I'm easy going, like going with the flow rather than 'ticking off things I've seen'
My next stop after Canada is New Zealand, then I think I'll go back to the UK/Europe. Got a strong desire to go to South America soon too. Thinking Columbia...?
Want to know more? Just ask.
PHILOSOPHY
Regret the things you do, not the things you didn't.
In vino veritas
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm keen to meet some great people and when/if I get home to Australia hopefully I'll be able to return the couch. If you're interested in wine I'm happy to tell you what I know too... if you're not I won't bore you
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm fairly new to it all.
Have a had couple of awesome experiences so far though. Christmas lunch with Steve_N_DC was a highlight!
Interests
Travel, wine, beer, food, learning, cooking, good coffee, music, skiing, old cars, did I mention wine? I love walking too, I feel its best way to get a feel for a place and it's people. Also been into photography since getting my first Instamatic 77x 20 odd years ago.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: WW2 history, bit of crime and spy, non-fiction
Music: All sorts, depends on what I'm doing. Nina Simone for cooking. Johnny Cash, Radiohead, Muse, Metallica, Louis Armstrong, Nirvana, Gorillas, heaps of other stuff.
Movies: Anything that doesn't follow a formula, I like to be surprised. Prime example: In Bruge, There Will Be Blood...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydiving beside the Great Barrier Reef was fairly cool. Salt mines in Poland were amazing, apparently Copernicus was there back in the day.
Teach, Learn, Share
Find a book called 'The Last Explorer' and read it - particularly if you're Australian.
I also know stuff about wine if you're interested!
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Poland, United Kingdom, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
