About Me

Dear all,

Please support couch surfing with your $. It's a worthwhile community. Let's show our love!

Stay safe!

CURRENT MISSION

I really want to see the world! People and places are awesome and I want to experience more.

ABOUT ME

I love having great conversations. I love travel and acoustic music. I am an open-minded oddball. I'm easy going, really. :) I enjoy talking with people from all walks of life.
So far, I have conversed in 50 out of the 50 states and in too few countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed a lot in the summer of 2012, in the USA and met some of the kindest, most ambitious, fun human beings in my life.
I hosted a few times in Kayseri, Turkey and hung out with CSers in the area...and met more amazing people! Had a couple of not great experiences in Kenya.
To date, I've attended CS events in Houston and one in Seattle. I've also had the privilege of showing a couple of people around Houston and hanging out w/ other traveling surfers during my journey.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I should probably use all of the synonyms for amazing! I learned that people have tons of trust and friendship in them. We just have to tap in. With few exceptions, every one of the CSers I've met since the summer of 2012 were amazing in their own way. Since CSing, I became motivated to apply and got great opportunities to teach overseas. I learned to open up more to the blessings life has to offer. I learned how easy it is to be a blessing to others and how important it is to connect to people in an honest and simple way. I've laughed A LOT!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All moments staring at/into the ocean. All sunrises and sunsets I've had the privilege to watch. The beauty of life is generally awe-inspiring!

Teach, Learn, Share

I learned how to save more $ while traveling. I can talk about things to do in most of the 50 states.

Mohamad Ali is now one of my favorite people. I'm also getting a more honest appreciation for just how beautiful people are.

According to John Bettis and George Tipton...
"Life goes on, and so do we,
Just how we do it is no mystery.
One by one, we fill the days,
We find a thousand different ways."

I believe it too! Life is full of so much goodness! It just keeps going, changing, morphing. It's truly a gift.
