ABOUT ME

I've wanted to travel & see the world since I was a kid and am finally taking the plunge and am "Just Doing It"!! None of us are promised "tomorrow", so FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS NOW! I sold my Fitness Boutique & everything else for that matter, and am devoting the next couple of years to an independent 'mission trip', traveling and volunteering throughout Latin America. I plan on documenting my adventures and sharing travel tips on my website.

UPDATE February 2017 : I can now communicate in Spanish!! ... grammer is NOT great, but do speak fluent Espanol de Calle. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently travelling so I am participating in Surfing - but will most definitely want to host when I return so I can continue meeing new people from around our beautiful world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

so far so good!! It's like staying with a "friend" of a friend.. and hanging out with locals in the area gives a more honest reflection of what the people and culture is really like. Muy bien!

Interests

There isn't much that doesn't interest me! God, of course, He's my HERO. Any outdoors activities from climbing to snowboarding, the arts (dance, painting, photography), reading & writing, music and helping people. I am also interested in house-sitting/pet-sitting opportunities, so if you need someone to watch your pad or pup while you're travelling, hit me up!

Teach, Learn, Share

Can share/teach: English language skills, including writing, reading, pronunciation and increasing conversational abilities.

I have also been an athletic trainer & Pilates/Yoga instructor for over 15 years, so I can help anyone with anything related to that field, from the injured to the athlete. So if you want to do a morning yoga session, let's rock it!

I REALLY want to learn how to speak Spanish, surf & scuba divE. Let me re-phrase, I WILL LEARN TO SPEAK SPANISH, SURF & SCUBA DIVE! =0)
