ABOUT ME

I am a second year PhD. student in the Department of Informatics. I previously went to Georgia Tech for a Master's. I do what computer scientists call anthropology. I tend to position myself as an observer, be it in social sciences, photography, or writing. Interests include World music, immature/amateur salsa, theatre and joke-less improv, piling fiction books, riding bicycles (downhill), indian food, cities, cafes, coffee, beach-side oily bajji and dirty raw mango, meeting new people, hosting embarassingly faulty radio shows, travel, and technology for developing nations. I was born and raised in Chennai but have been fortunate enough to have lived in some of the loveliest cities including Chicago and New York City.

PHILOSOPHY

Take nothing but photographs. Leave nothing but footprints.
