ABOUT ME

Traveling is my passion and I love to explore other cultures, people, traditions, ways of life, philosophies... I was able to study abroad in Cameroon which was an amazing experience! (a lot of my photos on here are from those 4 months).

I grew up in Oklahoma City and while I appreciate my roots, I'm usually off exploring other things (I already spent 18 years there, it's time to see something else). But when I am back I love bringing people with me and showing them around my home state.

I'm always up for an adventure and love hearing/sharing stories. I have a variety of interests/hobbies/experiences and tend to get along well with most other people!

To make friends, learn about the world, and have unforgettable human-focused experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started out going to meet-ups and met loads of cool people. My first "real" couchsurfing experience was in Europe during the summer of 2011 and was awesome! When I made my way out west to San Diego, I stayed with couchsurfers for the first few days I was in town. They took me under their wing, showed me the city, and became great friends.

Interests

I love good music, traveling, super-saturated colors, adventures, movies, DANCE!, the beach, the ocean, warm weather (which is why I ran away from New England after college), intelligent conversations, less-than-intelligent conversations, hanging out with friends, hanging out with random people, social justice, anything International Relations especially security issues, global governance, and negotiations, evolutionary psychology, awesome historic architecture, randomness, and aerial dance and acrobatics.
