I love 80s music, especially if the songs are sung by someone who is sad and/or British. The same could be said for my taste in books, but moreso written by American and French writers.
By contrast, I often watch films that are comedic, romantic, or generally cute.

J'aime bien la musique des années 80, surtout si les chansons sont chantés par quelqu'un de triste et/ou britannique. Le même pourrait être dit sur ma goût en livres, mais plutôt écrit par des écrivains américains et français.
Par contre, je regarde souvent des films comiques, romantiques, ou généralement mignons.

I spent a week in Haarlem, in the Netherlands, all alone. It was amazing to be the only person I knew within the radius of an entire country.
