About Me

My name is Autumn (like the season) and I'm 22 year old from California who loves to have new experiences and meet new people. In the states, I study Public Health but currently I'm studying in Madrid and trying to learn Spanish, and more so just trying to live life to its fullest. For me, traveling is a good way to experience different cultures and get to know how other people live, which is something I definitely value. & something I value even more so is FOOOODDD & laughter lol (but more so the food part). I enjoy listening to people and hearing what excites them/moves them, so obviously I'm always down for a good chat & i love to talk about whatever else is going on at the moment😊

Fun facts:

1. I am an empanada enthusiast
2. I love trashy reality TV shows (don't judge me)
3. I've been to the Ellen Degeneres show 3 times
4. I only exclusively wear black socks
5. I once worked at a cupcake store and ate at least one cake per week. yes, you read that right. one cake, not cupcake. so yeah, I'm a boss... or a fat ass lol
6. I keep a handy list of fun facts just for occasions such as this

Music, Movies, and Books

So I love love love Solange, and if you don't know who Solange is then be prepared to have your life changed. She's Beyoncé's sister and she sings a lot of slow R&B songs, but she's A M A Z I NG. In general, I like all sorts of music, whether chilled out or really fun and dance-worthy. I love a good boogie so if you have some fun music maybe we can dance a little. Some of my favorite artists are Miguel, Anderson Paak, and Leon Bridges. Also I really love Motown music though sadly not many people my age like it as much as I do hahaha

As for movies, I love comedies but also dramas. So if you ever wanna talk about Forgetting Sarah Marshall or maybe This Is The End, or Knives Out please let's. I don't know why I can't think of any dramas right now but I love a good drama, ooooo okay. I really like The Help, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, ummm idk the Notebook??

For books, I'm such a fan of thrillers. I didn't think that would be the case but I just recently just got into it. There's this one book called the Silent Patient. Oh my goodness, very good & very plot twisty. Highly recommend!! I'm trying to learn Spanish right now and that is why I'm currently living in Spain, so I'm trying to take on the task of reading children's books but in Spanish heheh baby steps.

If you haven't heard of any of these lovely, most amazing forms of entertainment I just listed, I would love to chat about it cos I'm such a fan.

Also side bar, a great show that I recently just watched is Casa de Papel. All I have to say is bank robberies, love, and spanish. Watch it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time my friend and I traveled from the very North of New Zealand all the way to the South, so we practically touched both tips of the country. We also managed to do this in 10 days! If we have a chance to meet, I'd love to tell you more about it 🤗

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make an ugly cake but also how to make some amazing caramelized carrots. Okay maybe not amazing but one notch above edible. Also I can rant for an hour about vaccinations, the state of our education system in the US, and why Transformers should've won an Oscar.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share great conversation and a bunch of laughs. I'm usually laughing even when things aren't that funny lol. I really enjoy getting to know new people and I can tell you about life in the States and where I've been so far and where I plan to go. I also enjoy food soooo if you wanted to just talk about food we can do that too hahah
