ABOUT ME

Everyone is an individual, make your own opinion. My closest and dearest friend, who knows me best - has described me as eccentric, fearless, her brother and his friend has descibed me as "the neighbor" < still waiting for a definition on that one. The same friend, has told me I am the most trustable and loyal person she has ever known. I am very protective of those and what I care about. I like to think I am compassionate, try to be considerate, have a set belief system but completely open minded, color blind and generally non judgemental. I tend to be direct with others who ask my advice - as in do you want me to tell you what you want to hear, are you asking because you just want to hear yourself talk or do you really want my advice. I often play the role of devil's advocate alot except with those who are cruel - that for me is inexcusable along with being ungracious, I am learning I don't prefer spending time with those who aren't gracious towards others and life in general.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE - hosting ONLY INTERNATIONAL TRAVELERS with the exception of the several individuals that have already stayed with us and would be welcome to again - we have made a choice not to host locals anymore.

I have always been the person when someone needed a place to stay - I'd be the one to contact or have people show up unannounced, day or night. In my own travels, I have stayed with strangers who have since become long time, close friends.

too many to list, if it's a book, i'll read it - i have favorite movies but they are all over the place on subject, theme, genre and it is the same with music -

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i TRY to experience the amazing everyday but the overall chocolate fragrance of Brugge was pretty nice, melting the bottom of my shoes walking up and over an active volcano in Mexico was a high point, however, amazing is relative - what I might find completely stunning might be met with complete indifference from another.
