I recently moved from the foothills of the Appalachian mountains in Ohio to the San Luis Valley of Colorado. I am doing a year of service focusing on gardening and nutrition education as a way to empower others.
Lately, I'm trying to focus on spending my time doing things that I feel passionate about - being outside and learning about my surroundings, organizing with others around social justice issues, and genuinely meeting and treating all others with kindness and dignity.
