About Me
CURRENT MISSION
sustainable hope - growth - maybe happiness
ABOUT ME
I've begun to accept the fact that I'm an odd bird. I am very capable of having a pleasant chat on a bus with a stranger, and of helping others to feel welcome and/or appreciated, but I'm struggling to do the same for myself. Wherever I go, my "other-ness" seems to follow me, and I hope one day to either wholly make peace with that or leave it behind for good.
I'd love the opportunity to host visitors from anywhere, particularly those who appreciate a full-spectrum; light and shadow, levity as well as depth. I'm also a closeted polyglot, and love to practice my French (and Spanish and Italian).
I hold myself to a stringent constitution of what is ethical and sustainable; I'm learning compassion for myself. I'm a single parent of an intrepid little human being who can be more outgoing than I am!
There's obviously more to me, but this is the most important stuff. I'm also an artist.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm here if you need a welcoming face and/or a homespun meal while you're visiting Seattle.
I'm also good for a decent haircut, if you need one while you're traveling on the cheap.
I just moved to a new place and hope to host guests once I get settled.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had one couchsurfer over for dinner, and it was lovely. I've stayed with a couple other CS hosts and have had some beautiful experiences.
