Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in a tiny town in the USA. I couldn't wait to leave, so when I turned 18 I moved to Atlanta and have been on the move ever since.
I lived in Atlanta for a few years, then moved to France for a year of studying and work. After I finished university, I immediately took a job teaching English in South Korea, where I've been ever since.
I'm pretty open-minded, I love exploring and trying new food.
If you want to know anything else, just ask!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the best way to explore somewhere is to meet actual locals.
I also think travelers are some of the most interesting people out there, so I'd love to meet more of you!
Interests
I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures and histories.

Music, Movies, and Books
I worked as a librarian for two years, so I'll read anything well-written. I tend to migrate towards fiction, though.
I listen to mostly alternative (Arctic Monkeys, Saint Motel, and Franz Ferdinand are some of my favorites) but my tastes are varied, from classical (Arvo Part is my favorite composer) to bluegrass (Trampled by Turtles or the Avett Brothers, anyone?)
Like most young people, I probably watch more television shows than movies. My favorites are Game of Thrones, Black Mirror, Vikings, Orphan Black, and a few others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've lived my life as I think it's best lived.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I'm an English teacher, so there's that. I can teach you English.
I also used to tutor French, so if you want to practice or need help, je suis prête.
I am the Queen of Bad Puns, so if you're looking for some punishment, you know where to find it.
I can also share my many travel experiences and excellent stories, and advice about best television shows.
I'm a pretty good listener and actively seek out people with different opinions than my own. I think it's good to try to see all sides to a story before making judgements.
What I Can Share with Hosts
At least four people have told me I'm hilarious, and not that many people groan when I make terrible puns.
I've also got some fun stories.
I might also bring you a small peace offering if you let me stay on your couch.
