Creating art is my inspiration for life, my purpose. I enjoy being an artist as it allows me the freedom of self expression, eccentric as I choose to be.

I have been an artist since I could hold a crayon. My favorite colour is blue, whether vibrant, tranquil.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live my life by the "Golden Rule": always treat others as you would want to be treated. I highly value those that keep their word and strive to live by that standard myself. Respect and kindness are very important to give and receive.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I both enjoy having the ability to host when I am not traveling, as well as being able to meet the locals when staying on couches. It is an honor to have enough to share with others as well as being invited to share with others. Respect in both activities is key.

I just started a job that has me working from 11am-9pm every day but Sunday's for a couple months, though my husband is home and is a great host as well.
Right now it's best if our surfers are looking more for a place to sleep then a lot of social activity, though we will try our best to hang out when we can still. :)

The best night's to be able to catch us currently is Wednesday nights only, and we do not host anyone who has less than 5 references currently.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted several people and have fond memories of all. One is a very close friend now. I'm always left better for the company I keep with surfers or hosts. :)

My top 3 favorite movies are: The Last Unicorn, Legend, and Labyrinth. I love anime and electronica or classic rock music. My favorite books are fantasy or fiction ;)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Seeing David Bowie in concert was the highlight of my 19 year old life, and it still is one of the coolest things I have ever done. It was one of the lessons to learn that if you try hard enough at something, anything is possible. I spent all the money I could muster and got 8th row, I screamed so loud he made eye contact with me for a whole 3 seconds but it was so worth it. It was one of the first traveling experiences I ever had, and certainly my first independent one. I had to go to California for it and it was both thrilling and nerve wrecking being a stranger there. It gave me a taste of wanderlust though, one which I still have a strong appetite for :)
