Overview
About Me
As a teen I wrote a very aspirational and ditsy travel blog whilst travelling to and from different continents on my own, as I got older I became more sure of myself and what I want to do in life and travelling the world got pushed to the back of my mind (though I still travelled around anyway!).
I left couchsurfing quite a while back but I had a few good experiences with meet ups in my home city, London, looking to give it another go a few years later! Busy with trying to build a career I´m not a little crazy gandering teen anymore but I still have a lust for travel and would like to explore that further with couchsurfing.
At the moment I´m hesitant to verify my profile as I´ve only just hopped back on this website and I´m not sure how needed it really is but in the meantime I can prove my authenticity via other methods such as my whatsapp number and facebook and instagram profile etc.
I´m mostly looking to stay with female hosts only but I´m open to male hosts too just have to be wary haha! I am super clean, considerate and friendly with good and open communication at all times.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling is what makes me feel human - real. Travelling and meeting new people makes you feel like a citizen of the world rather than of one city or town. I am not fixed to any society, I am just a part of the world.
To roam airports and cities all alone, to see people of all kinds from all over this little planet gives me the most beautiful, sonderous feeling combined with desperate and continuous wanderlust. For every flight there is a Veronica I got to know in ten hours, she has been to Thailand, Bali. There is a Michael who is constantly travelling to Poland to visit his family from Sydney, who I got to know in fourteen when I was sixteen. For every hour spent in a strange and foreign airport or country I learn something new about myself. I wrote this back when I was 16-17 haha - now the first track of my debut EP was written about this experience.
I am on couchsurfing because when I visit a new country I always crave to experience it close to the most native and authentic way possible, I like to understand the lifestyle and learn the most about the country, language etc. At the same time I´m not a crazy party goer and the hostel lifestyle usually doesn´t really fit me. I prefer more intimate and relaxed interactions with one or two other people.
