ABOUT ME

Im a very easy going person, I like to be spontaneous and meet new people as well as visit new places by myself. I work as an artist and vintage retailer in the wonderful city of Robin Hood and his Merry Men! I also make costumes and dance and perform when I get the time. I recently attended clown school and danced on stage for Goldie as well as on stage as a mermaid with my Pirate friends "The Seas Of Mirth". In recent years i've took it upon myself to explore as much and as far as I can. I hope to find people with whom to share parts of my journey with but also I like to take time to explore by myself, sometimes to draw, write or just for quiet contemplation. I am friendly and love to make new friends but i'm not clingy and im very respectful of hosts and their space. I look forward to meeting new friends and i hope they will also come visit me here in England!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel a lot, I'd like to meet new people wherever I go and really get to know a place properly and help out wherever i can :) As I’m an Art student now I find myself travelling a lot as part of my studies whether its to experience a different culture, to get out in nature or go to visit galleries& museums in the city.

Interests

Im interested in a lot of different creative subjects, film and television, art and design, costume making, music etc :) I have skills in photography and modelling, filming and editing. I like to draw and paint, dance and make costumes. I like to try and make the world a little prettier wherever i can, even if its just a smile :) Or making it funnier with my bad singing and love of Karaoke!! x

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music (except gabber & electro swing 😢) recently I'm getting in to blues and jazz! Im being slowly introuced to more folksy music with interesting lyrics, low-fi electronica and rock. Really im the kind of person who likes a little bit of everything. The same goes for films, I like anime, french melodrama, big budget action films. I love Studio Ghibli and anime. Recently I binge watched Altered Carbon and was very impressed. The usual stuff, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones. I really like David Lynch, Jim Jarmusch, Spike Jonze and such. I like Neil Gaiman, Kahlil Gibhran, Alan Watts and Chuck Palknuick. I’m currently reading the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy after all these years though I'll admit though i read a lot more comics than books, I like the artwork! I like Battle Angel Alita, Akira, Ranma 1/2, Uzumaki as well as Alan Moore and Frank Miller :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Danced on stage with Goldie, Cooked vegan food in a makeshift squat kitchen for the Migrants living in the tent jungles of Calais, scaled the cliff down to San Diego Blacks Beach in my flip flops and bikini and didnt fall off and die @___@, never learned how many “one amazing thing” is.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m studying art at the moment so sculpting and scribbling is the game at the moment. I can teach a little bit of filming, photography and editing. I can make costumes and sew, im a good cook so can teach or just cook for people. I occasionally teach a little bit of Ice skating though only basics on how to get started (Im not Jane Torvil!). Im happy to exchange my English for whomever would like to learn it it, im interested in all languages but especially French and Japanese. if anyone wants a creative partner im happy to join in on spontaneous artistic projects or just lark about a bit ^__^ x

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm an outgoing agreeable person, Im a native english speaker. Im up for fun and adventures, learning and exploring. I can cook, clean, paint, basic DIY, basic sewing but mostly just be good, kind company and a helpful & respectful guest :) x
