ABOUT ME

I, Ava Carvour, was born in the year of the monkey under the auspicious and fiery sign of the ram. It is no coincidence then, that I am filled with passions for the things I choose to commit to. In sum, I am a vivacious vegan, a cat lover, and budding wordsmith.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to live my life without harming any living creatures, without shrouding myself in the darkness of negativity , and without the blindness and deafness of ignorance. I prefer to be surrounded by the brilliant glow of enlightened compassion.

Interests

I find enjoyment in both the activities I have loved since childhood and the new ones I've stumbled upon in recent years. I am sustained by reading. I am soothed by writing. I am deliciously exhausted by running. I am awakened by Women's Studies. And I am renewed by explorations into nature and interactions with animals.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the adventure of reading, the power of words to transport and inspire. There have been many books that have swelled within my soul and inundated my mind. A few of my favorite novelist's are Jane Austen, Dave Eggers, Margaret Atwood, and J.D. Salinger.
