ABOUT ME

I'm a 20-something year old wanderer, simply looking for a place that I can feel at peace. I work hard, and play harder, though not as often as I'd like to. I've always had a travelbug, so I move a lot. I'm an animal lover (and pet-sit often), and hope to work with them when I grow up. I write when I have a clear enough head, and dream always. My phone is attached to me at all times, mostly because it acts as my camera. I'm a music junkie; I listen to anything I can get my hands on, and even things I can't quite grasp. I devour words, sometimes literally.

My current (unhealthy) obsession: refinishing, refurbishing, and rearranging furniture

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love having a house full of people. Even when I don't, I make sure that both my couch and my extra room are available for anyone who needs it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've mostly hosted, but have been to every state on the East Coast, Chicago, Boulder, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Southern California, Utah, Denver, Pueblo, Las Vegas, and, most recently, Kansas, and met up with other CSers.

SKYDIVING in Minier, IL!!! Definitely the most surreal (and scary!) moment of my life.

Thank goodness for automatic parachutes.

I love to cook. I live to write, and love to share my knowledge of composition. I want to learn so many things! From culture to language to FOOD, there are just so many things I want to absorb in my travels. I hope to trade whatever I know with the people I meet along the way.

In the works: surfing with and getting language lessons from folks who speak different languages fluently.
