About Me
I am an astronomy graduate student at Cornell university. I love reading, running, hiking, and travelling to new places when time permits. On my bucket list is to travel and participate in the marathons all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music is pretty eclectic - it includes Simon and Garfunkel, Tom Lehrer, Beatles, Dire Straits, as well as The Mountain Goats and Florence and the Machine.
My favorite TV shows of all time are Yes Minister, and Blackadder. There are too many books to mention, but notable are Georgette Heyer, Lois McMaster Bujold, P G Wodehouse, and Ilona Andrews. My current reading list is a WW2 collection, with William Shirer and all of Churchill's histories that I am slowly working through.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Scuba-diving in Puerto Rico. Sky diving in Berlin. Hitchhiked over Europe with a bunch of friends. Survived to the ripe old age of 25, which most of my friends did not believe I could do.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love teaching people of all ages about astronomy, especially little kids.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A lot of sarcasm and deadpan snark. A large collection of trivia, lots of sci-fi and fantasy fiction, vegan cooking, and hilarious stories about life in academia. I can also be a very slow running or hiking companion.
