Trying to figure out a way to get to Antarctica...
ABOUT ME
I grew up in California, and I spent most of my childhood traveling. My parents are the most ambitious travelers I have ever met, and I hope that I can someday live up to their incredible adventures. I'm mainly drawn to places that are off the beaten map, like abandoned buildings and creeping old houses.

PHILOSOPHY
Your world is as big as you allow it to be.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think Couchsurfing is an amazing way to see the side of a city that you don't find in a tour book. I love staying with people who are passionate about their cities, who know off-the-beaten track places, and who are willing to have an adventure. I'm the type of person who is excited to spend a lot of time with you, but I'm also really good at making my own itinerary and doing my own thing. I would love you to show me your life, what you love about where you live, etc. And I love street food!
I usually like to make food for my hosts, or take them out to dinner if their schedule allows it. If you're a busy person and don't have time to spend time with me, but are still able to host me, that's cool too. I'm good at finding my own path!
My partner and I have been hosting together in Australia for 3 years (about forty people so far) but since he handles the correspondence, those reviews are on his page.
I love the fact that people are willing to treat perfect strangers like family, and I hope to continue that tradition as much as possible in my own way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm scared of heights, but I'm doing pretty much everything in my power to beat it. If I see a steep mountain, I'll challenge myself to climb it. I did a headstand on a lookout platform thousands of feet in the air when I visited Korea...it was exhilarating.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a writer, and I love teaching people words in different languages. In the past, I have taught English, fencing, and gymnastics. I would love to teach people French.
