About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to enjoy life and find new adventures
ABOUT ME
Where do I begin? I'm mostly a down-to-earth person, with the occasional desire to just go wild and have fun on my hyper days. I love to laugh, so being around funny people is a joy to me. My sense of humor depends on the day, and I often make myself laugh with jokes I come up with in my head, but I don't often share them with others out of fear that no one will think I'm funny. I enjoy intelligent conversations, but I find that it's better to stay on the lighthearted side of things instead of getting into a heated debate. Debates/arguments get people angry, and I'd rather steer clear of that negative energy. Well, these are just the basics about me...everything else will have to come with getting to know me over some time.
PHILOSOPHY
Love is freedom, and it comes from within!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For now, I will just be travelling and couchsurfing with willing hosts. I am also available to hang out with anyone who is staying in Richmond.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've only travelled once using the couch-surfing philosophy. It was great, and I hope to have more fun experiences meeting new people in different cities.
Interests
I'm a licensed Cosmetologist, and I used to work at a children's salon on weekends doing nails, facials, and makeup for little girl's birthday parties. I miss it, but it's time to get a better paying job. In my free time, I watch movies, listen to music, go out to eat with friends, visit museums, or make jewelry (which I also sell). I've done a little bit of travelling in my life so far, but I'd love to get out there some more. I want to visit almost every place in the world, if it's possible!

Music, Movies, and Books
I have an eclectic taste...it's too much to list, and I have some trouble remembering titles and artists/author's names.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going to China in the Summer of 2012 was incredible. I walked up the Great Wall of China, saw the Terra Cotta Warriors, made dumplings, learned about tea ceremonies (I've forgotten most of the rituals...), saw the Shanghai Circus, and did so many other cool things. I really need to start traveling again!
