I'm a 21 year old undergraduate student from Singapore, currently studying in London! I am very new to Europe so I am really hoping to make the most of my time studying here by travelling and seeing as much of the world as I can.

My biggest passion is sports!
I like playing all sorts of sports and watch many sports as well including tennis football MMA cricket basketball and more! One thing I really like doing in all the big cities I visit is to see the biggest sport stadiums in the city.

The world is far too big to allow myself to be confined to just a small part of it. I'm hugely motivated by the prospect of seeing and trying new things, be it activities, food, festivals, or scenery, so when you meet me I guarantee you will have a willing "YES" man who won't turn down ideas or opportunities to explore new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is an incredible way to travel as not only do you get to see the places, but you get to learn even more about the these places through the help of fellow Couchsurfing hosts! It is the the ultimate way to immerse oneself in what it means to live in that town you and it is a fantastic way to make many lifelong friends from all around the world.

I like rock music from the early 2000s like Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Paramore, and I am also really into many of the old school rap musicians of that era and today.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to be a firefighter when I was in Singapore! I served in the firefighting force (known as the Singapore Civil Defence Force) for about 2 years. Firefighting comes with many challenges and it's an incredibly eye opening experience that not everybody would be able to go through, so I am blessed for the lessons I learnt and the inspiring people I met along the way.

I've grown up my whole life in Asia and have visited many countries especially in South East Asia, so I would be very happy to share about my own multicultural society in Singapore as well as what I know about the diverse cultures in this region.

However, I have yet to travel around Europe much, so I am hoping to learn more about the different traditions, festivals and of course try the exciting food in every country here.
