Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Stay spontaneous. Always be open to a new adventure...
ABOUT ME
I traveled quite a bit during college and definitely caught a nasty case of the travel bug.
For the past few years I've been working as a writer/producer in Los Angeles, but am missing the freedom that comes with travel. From May to August I'll be backpacking through Europe and looking for fellow couchsurfers to stay with.
PHILOSOPHY
I never want to look back on life and say "what if" or "why didn't I?" The world has so much to offer, it'd be a shame to let fear get in the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Though I can't offer my home at this time, I do plan to welcome fellow travelers once I've finished my own journey abroad. Wherever I stay, I'll help out in any way I can. I am very easy going, non-dramatic, and just want to be in good company, take in the culture, and enjoy the experience.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never actually used couch surfing though after finding myself a bit lost and alone in Amsterdam, I was able to meet some wonderful people. Instead of staying at my hostel, I stayed with them and am now convinced it's the best way to travel.
Interests
Writing. Books. Film. Simple living. Animals (a sucker for dogs and horses). Wine. Whisky. Wandering. New friends. New faces. New places.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I indulge in the chick flicks every now and again, love me a psychological thriller, but my go to is usually comedy.
Music: Everything from rock and indie to folk and blue grass
Books: What comes to mind... Middlesex, Brave New World, Gone Girl, A Visit from the Goon Squad, The Stand
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Don't know if I'd call it amazing, but I moved to Los Angeles with one bag, no job, no car, no place to stay, and without knowing a soul on the West Coast.
Teach, Learn, Share
Practical skill: I've been riding horses since the age of 7.
Learn: I'd like to have an authentic experience and learn where the best local spots are.
Share: I would like to contribute while abroad and have the opportunity to volunteer while traveling.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My sometimes awkward, sometimes inappropriate sense of humor. My optimism. Being clean and courteous. I've been told I'm a surprisingly good cook and would be happy to prove it... or at least try.
