Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to know better the culture of places I am visiting, I think you better feel the atmosphere of the place when you are surrounded by people from there. Also I don't like to travel like a tourist but I like to feel how the inhabitants of that country live, what distinct customs they have.
