Overview
About Me
I am a recent college graduate from Santa Cruz, CA who loves to travel. I am finally getting the chance to go out of the US for an extended period of time and am so excited about it!
I absolutely love meeting new people and forging connections, specifically with those different from myself.
In the future I plan to become a high school English teacher, but not before traveling...first stop Iceland and Ireland!
I love, cooking and eating good food, music of all kinds (alternative, rock, bluegrass, traditional, hip hop, and electronic/house music, etc.), and I'm especially looking forward to traditional Irish music! I also love reading and writing, hiking and swimming, and dancing (structured, ecstatic, contact improv, and just having a great time at shows).
Can't wait to meet you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My boyfriend of four years, Charlie, and I are traveling to Ireland and Iceland this summer and figured this would be a good way to meet people. He and his roommate used to host couchsurfers all the time in the middle of downtown San Francisco, CA. They had such a great time and met so many interesting people, that we figured we'd try the other side of the coin during our travels. We both love to meet new people and to see the real side of wherever we are. Through Couchsurfing, we hope to exchange stories, knowledge, and a good time while learning about what life is really like in each place we visit.
