I've done a bit of couchsurfing with friends and met travelers that my friends have hosted and always had such amazing experiences. I've always said it's the people you meet in your travels who really make your experience an incredible and unforgettable one. Couchsurfing is such a great way to make real, memorable connections with people from all over, see the best things a place has to offer, and hear new, interesting, and unique perspectives and stories (we all know there are some crazy ones out there!) I've never hosted because I haven't been able to, but can't wait to start hosting when I have a solid living situation.
