One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent an hour and half walking in beautiful London rain -- no coat or umbrella -- searching for the Sherlock Holmes Pub for a late-night dinner only to arrive and find the kitchen was closed. While those who were with me found it a fruitless endeavor, I couldn't have been more satisfied by the dreary landscape of mirrored sidewalks and lights refracted by haze. Who, in their right mind, could ever deny a walk in the rain?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hosting a stranger is a bold step in trust, and hosting for free says a lot about a person's personality. Couchsurfing is a brilliant tool to build new relationships, and relationships take the work of two people. Therefore, I offer a willingness to take part in local culture and activity, help around the host's home with chores, cooking, and whatever else is appropriate.
