Overview
About Me
I am interested in taking the unlikely method. Most people get caught up on, 'but no body else does that," and thats not a good excuse to me. I am up to explore new places and try new ways of doing things. I try to be conscious of how our culture influences what we do and don't do. I don't want to miss out on something great because I didn't grow up hearing about it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couch surfing because I am frequently traveling the country and into Canada (sometimes). I have been in half of all US states but the issue of where to stay always comes up, and hotels get really expensive really fast.
Interests
My interests are Digital Arts, Hiking, swimming, music, sports, art, games, and technology.
I wrote a book, Darby, and published it last year on Amazon.
Last month I filmed and produced a Sleep Deprivation documentary with a bunch of friends.
I have played the drums since I was 10 and play the guitar marginally.
I spend a lot of time making things with the Adobe programs, logos, videos, photos, and animations.
Every year I go on a hiking trip in October and spend 3 days in the woods camping and hiking.
I ride a motorcycle and love the sunshine.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music interest is always growing and evolving. I listen to the more traditional indie, pop, and rock bands but I spend a lot of time trying to find alternative music. I have entire playlists dedicated to music in other languages of a specific genre and I have a lot of fun building these playlists.
Favorite movies are 7 Pounds and Yes Man. One time after watching Yes man, I promised myself that I would be one and 30 minutes later I was asked to join cross country. I hate running, but I made it through the whole season and came in second place on my last race of the season.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Published a book on Amazon.
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn, Share, Teach. Thats the better order here. We are all inclined to think we are right and want to teach everyone first. But if we observe and learn, then share our own experiences, we get a much fuller life. Then we are qualified to teach others.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories of past traveling experiences, jobs, friends, and random knowledge. I am always seeking to learn new things which means I really care about the different aspects of your life that seem untraditional.
