ABOUT ME

i grew up in boston, i lived in nashville for my undergraduate studies, i worked for a nonprofit as a rep traveling around the united states, i quit my job to travel asia, and now i live, work, and study in haifa, israel.

i'd consider myself calm and easy going, with an affinity for questioning the world around me. i feel like the more foreign experiences i have, the more i learn. and also, the more questions i have! its a fascinating cycle

i write from time to time to process or recollect, and i enjoy listening

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i like to share a bit of the good life with the good people around, and challenge myself to interact with the unknown that this platform brings

i traveled for most of 2013-2014 and it's all still really fresh in my head. so many times an individual i didn't know, who owed me nothing, was my little guardian angel along the way. i gained trust, appreciation, and love for people from these experiences.

now living in haifa for several years, studying and now working in dance therapy. i feel like ive discovered a fascinating city in israel. if a traveler has wound up here, i want to help if i can, if only to route them down the quieter, more special roads they may not seek out otherwise.

i have been hosted several times, it was always extremely helpful, and nice to have a new friend in a foreign place

Interests

being near water and dancing forever!!

and...

i really appreciate food (vegetables more than animals but every so often i will eat the meats). yes i would love to share a home cooked meal :)

i will be appreciative of anything that gives me a taste of a new place - a small chat, going for a walk, tasting a local brew... live music at night, a cafe that makes your favorite food, a new view.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

driving across arizona state all night to catch grand canyon at sunrise! silence, the gradual changing morning colors on the ridge, it was a pure beauty unmatched
